About Myself
Born and raised in Oshawa, I have always had a passion for creativity. As a child, I enjoyed drawing and painting; not that I was any good at the latter! In High School I had my first experience with the digital side of art through Photography and Basic Coding. Ever since, my imagination has never stopped.
Along with design I also enjoy reading a good book on history and I'm never without my daily paper. I consider myself the curious type and prefer to say informed on world events.
I love animals, being that I am a proud owner of three amazing dogs.
Education
I'm a graduate of Durham College's 3-year Multimedia Program. As a requirement for graduation I completed a 4 week co-op placement at the The Oshawa Express.
Who says Flash is dead? I am proficient in App and Game Development, along with the use of External Databases and Dynamic Positioning.
Digital Illustration
Using both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator I can design branding, logos and retouch photographs. The same applies to Croel Draw. If I'm feeling creative, I'll combine them all into a piece of digital art.
Web Design
Beyond basic HTML, I know of CSS3 Style Sheets, Responsive Design (such as Foundation), HTML5 Animation, and JavaScript (including jQuery). All of which are evident in this site.
Photography
DSLR Photography is my favourite hobby. I've taken countless shots in my life since first trying my hand at it in 2011. Nature, especially animals, is my favourite subject matter .
InDesign
Thanks to countless hours of reading, I've garnered a eye for print design. From typefaces to margins and colours, great print design is a complicated process. That's where I can help out.
After Effects
After Effects is amazing. Tweens. Masks. KeyLighting. Cameras. Lights. Filters. Comps. You can create any style of video, from infomercials to infographics, by using all the tools present in After Effects.
Premiere Pro
Premiere allows me to create and edit videos for whatever need.
Excel
As boring as it appears, Excel offers major potential. I can create databases and compose equations. Along with Excel I also have knowledge in both Word and PowerPoint.
PHP & MySQL
To be honest, PHP has challenged me. Nevertheless I know my way around PHP code and have made usage of MySQL databases in the past.
